What is a notary public?
A notary public is a state-appointed official authorized to witness the signing of documents, administer oaths, and help prevent fraud by verifying identities.
What types of documents do you notarize?
I notarize a wide range of documents, including powers of attorney, affidavits, real estate and loan documents, wills, vehicle title transfers, and more.
Do you offer remote online notarization (RON)?
Yes! I am authorized to perform Remote Online Notarizations in Maryland. This means we can complete your notarization securely online, without meeting in person.
Do you handle loan signings?
Yes, I am a certified loan signing agent and have experience with mortgage documents, refinance packages, buyer/seller closings, HELOCs, and more.
What do I need to bring for notarization?
Please bring a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license or passport. The document must be complete and unsigned when presented to the notary.
What areas do you serve in Maryland?
I serve Baltimore and Baltimore County, and I can also travel beyond these areas for an additional fee.
How much do you charge for notary services?
Fees vary based on the type of service, travel distance, and number of signatures. Maryland sets a maximum per-notarization fee, but mobile and RON services may include convenience or platform fees. Contact me for a personalized quote.
Can I get something notarized online if I’m outside Maryland?
Yes. With Remote Online Notarization, you can be located anywhere, as long as I am physically in Maryland during the notarization.
Can you notarize a document without the signer present?
No. The signer must be present either in person or through a secure online session during RON, and must show valid identification.
What if my ID is expired?
Unfortunately, I cannot accept expired identification. You will need to present a valid, government-issued photo ID.
